Concrete refers to the “image” that is created in your mind when it is visualized. When I say the word happiness, it has no reference unless you can see it. You probably recall the person you last saw who was happy, or a time in your life when you were happy. It creates a concrete picture.
Fig refers to the parable in the Bible that talks about importance of the fig tree bearing fruit. The simple visual picture communicates a powerful, important message. It’s through these visual elements that Luke connects the concept of the vineyard keeper nurturing the fig trees so they will bear fruit.
This blog represents my fig. A simple, yet complete way to reflect how my life is being lived, and ultimately represented to others.
